I’m the founder and owner of MAYA, and I’ve always had a huge passion for beauty, business and creating spaces where people feel good about themselves. I started MAYA with a vision of creating more than just a beauty salon — somewhere clients could come to feel relaxed, looked after and completely themselves.
Over the years, MAYA has grown into a busy beauty salon, wellness space and academy, and I’m so proud of everything we’ve created. I love being involved in every part of the business, from developing new treatments and training our team to creating new opportunities through MAYA Academy.
For me, the best part of MAYA is the people. I love meeting our clients, watching the team grow and seeing the confidence that comes from making someone feel amazing — whether that’s through a treatment, a new skill or simply having a good chat and a little bit of time for themselves.

I've been in the beauty industry for over 20 years — I started working in a salon at 16 and qualified at 18, and I still love every minute of it. I've worked in salons and even had the chance to work on cruise ships as an Ionithermist, meeting clients from all over the world. These days I offer everything from nails and pedicures to massage, facials, waxing and lash lifts. For me it's not just about the treatment — I love giving people a little time out from busy lives, helping them feel relaxed, confident and looked after, with a good chat and a laugh along the way.
