PCA Skin Professional Treatments

PCA Skin professional treatments are chosen around your skin rather than from a standard facial menu. They may be used to refresh the skin, support surface texture, improve the appearance of dullness or pigmentation and help you build a sensible home skincare routine.

Treatment information

What happens during the appointment?

I will look at your skin, ask about your current skincare and talk through what you would like to improve before recommending the most suitable facial, dermaplaning treatment or peel.

Which treatments are available?

The current options include the PCA Red Carpet Facial, Dermaplaning Facial, PCA Skin Personalised Medi Peel, PCA No Peel Peel and a course of three Personalised Medi Peels.

What should I expect?

I will make the treatment as comfortable as possible and explain each step. Depending on the treatment, you may notice temporary tingling, warmth, redness, sensitivity or peeling. Some treatments have little visible downtime, while others need more planning.

Skincare plan

If you need help with your home routine, we can keep it simple and focus on the products and steps that are actually useful for your skin. I will explain how to introduce products safely around your treatment.

Before and aftercare

You will receive clear advice about what to use, what to pause and how to protect your skin afterwards. The advice depends on the treatment selected and how your skin responds.

Frequently asked questions

Which PCA Skin treatment is right for me?

That depends on your skin, current skincare, the concern you want to address and how much downtime you can plan for. I will recommend the most appropriate option after assessing you.

Will my skin peel afterwards?

Not necessarily. It depends on the treatment, the peel selected and how your skin responds. I will explain the likely downtime before we go ahead.

Can I have a peel if my skin is sensitive?

Possibly, but I would need to assess your skin and current skincare first. The safest option may be to postpone or choose a gentler treatment.

Do I need to stop my skincare before treatment?

You may need to pause certain products, depending on the treatment. I will give you clear pre-treatment advice rather than asking you to stop prescribed medication or skincare without discussion.

Is a course of peels essential?

Not necessarily. A course may be recommended for a particular goal, but I will explain the reason for it and you can decide whether it suits your skin, time and budget.

Start with a conversation

Every treatment starts with an honest, unhurried assessment. If you're not sure this is the right one for you, a new client consultation is a good place to begin instead.
