Profhilo & Sunekos Skin Boosters

Profhilo and Sunekos are injectable skin boosters used when the focus is improving skin quality rather than changing the shape of the face. They are different products with different formulations and treatment approaches, so the most suitable option depends on your skin, the area being treated and what you want to improve.

Treatment information

What are they?

Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to support hydration, texture, elasticity and the overall condition of the skin. They are not chosen simply because they are popular; we will look at your skin and discuss whether a booster is appropriate for your concerns.

Profhilo

Profhilo is an injectable treatment containing a high concentration of hyaluronic acid. It is designed to spread through the skin and support hydration, firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality rather than create a defined shape or add volume to one specific area. It may be considered for dull, dehydrated or crepey skin and mild loss of firmness on areas such as the face, neck or décolletage.

Sunekos

Sunekos is an injectable treatment combining hyaluronic acid with a specific blend of amino acids. It is used in tailored treatment plans to support hydration and skin quality, and may be considered for fine lines, delicate areas such as under the eyes, the face, forehead lines, neck or décolletage depending on the formulation and assessment.

How are they different?

Profhilo is commonly considered for broader hydration and skin remodelling, with one-session and two-session options on the current price list. Sunekos has different formulations and more targeted treatment protocols, including courses for particular areas and single-treatment options. There is no single best skin booster for everyone, and the choice should follow an assessment.

Comfort and treatment

I will make the treatment as comfortable as possible, explain the injection process and allow time for questions. Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising can occur afterwards, and we will discuss the possible downtime and aftercare in depth before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Profhilo and Sunekos?

Both are injectable skin-quality treatments, but they contain different formulations and are used in different treatment plans. Profhilo is often considered for broader hydration and skin remodelling, while Sunekos can be used in more targeted protocols. I will explain which is more appropriate for you. There isn't one best skin booster for everyone. Your skin, medical history and treatment area matter more than choosing the most familiar brand. We'll discuss whether either option is useful for you and whether another approach makes more sense.

Which skin booster is best?

There is not one best treatment for everyone. The choice depends on your skin, the area being treated, your medical history and what you would like to improve.

Do I need a course?

Some options on the price list are designed as a course, while other clients may be suitable for a single treatment. I will explain the reasoning behind the plan before you decide.

Can skin boosters be used around the eyes, neck or décolletage?

Some products and protocols may be considered for these areas, but suitability depends on the product, your skin and your medical history. This will be discussed during assessment.

What will my skin look like afterwards?

Small bumps at injection sites, swelling, bruising, redness or tenderness can occur. We'll discuss the expected recovery, relevant product risks and warning signs before treatment. This includes less common problems such as infection or an allergic reaction, and the risks associated with injecting into the treatment area. Following downtime of approximately 48 hours you will begin to see improvements in your skin quality, with its peak improvement following your prescribed treatment.
